this sound experiment receives sound via a microphone, runs a Fourier analysis on it, and plays back the most dominant frequencies. it can pick the melody out of a song or a conversation and play it back to you. this works best when the microphone and speakers are kept separate to avoid feedback (i.e. headphones).
